This is for dantom my byond keeps saying:
BYOND Central is not accessible.
that and some other [stuff] that i cant login to games i kindaa WANT THIS FIXED i already tried calling but some altell thingy says something and i really want this damn thing fixed
I'm having no problems here. Let's see if we can figure out what's going on.

1. Are you behind a firewall? Or are you running firewall software?
2. What version of Windows are you running? (looks like 2000 or XP)
3. Go to a Command Prompt and try the following commands:
a. ping dantom.com
b. tracert dantom.com
c. telnet dantom.com 6001
What happens in each case?

Clearly your computer is having trouble contacting the hub server. It could be a firewall issue, your ISP blocking the communication, a configuration issue, or some problem on Dantom's end. With more information, maybe we can figure it out.

Oh, and please don't use foul language, as we have young people in our audience here.

Now what results did you get from those tests Air Mapster mentioned?

I am having the same problems. Except slightly different. It always says Byond central not accesible for my screen name but when I go on my sisters screen name it works! So I always go on her screen name to play the games! So I suggest you try a different screen name, too.{ The only downside to having to use my sisters screen name: She has a time limit set on her screen name. You can only go on her screen name for one hour. And she needs to go on so I never get to play.} :(

I also can't login {On forums} on my screen name but I logged in on my sisters screen name so I can talk on forums now even on my screen name...as long as I don't log out.
It took me two weeks with out Byond to finally find out how to fix these two problems.{ Well I actually didn't really fix the Byond central not accesible one yet.}

So the only problem I really have now is the Byond is not accesible one so if anyone can help me, please do. But for others with this problem I suggest getting a second screen name for playing Byond.

[Edit]I can only play the games I previously downloaded before this started to happen.

That is what I get from using ping dantom.com in the Command Prompt.

b. tracert dantom.com

This one gives a quite long list for me, and to be quite frank, I am not in the mood to type the long list out heh, sorry.

This gives a list of IP Address' and some other things too.

c. telnet dantom.com 6001

As for this one, it gave me some wierd text...

But for people with "Byond Central Not Accessable", it will probobly be different. For C, I get a pop-up. Its basically just a big white window with telnet in it.
In response to Airjoe
I got this:

Connecting to byond://telnet dantom.com 6001.
BYOND Central is not accessible.

And "byond://telnet" is a link and when I click it I get I pop- up it reads:

You must be online to join telnet. Would you like to turn your pager on now?

Then it gives you two options, yes or no.

Nothing happens no matter what you click.

Oh, and pager doesn't work. And when it does Byond central is accessible.

[Edit] Same thing happens in each case.

You need to do that stuff from a "DOS" command prompt.

For the telnet one I get a wierd window...you can't do anything with it. But there is a pop-up too that says:
"Could not open a connection with dantom.com"

For the ping one I get a black window that has lots of words on it and then more words come and come for about two seconds then it stops and window closes.

For tracert I get similar to ping except less and different words.

Just as in Linux, you can do this in DOS for most textual output:

tracert dantom.com > output.txt

Then you can just open the file created and cut-n-paste that text here.

Okies, will do it now. :)

[EDIT]

Here is the textual output from the tracert used on dantom.com, thanks to digitalmouse for giving me the easier option to just cut-and-paste the output ;)
