There are many things you can do to help yourself with coding, and fix problems:
1) Search the forums. MANY topics have been posted. Chances are you will find what you are looking for. People take their precious time to help you with what has already been helped with. If you are really lucky, people will give you coding. If you pretty lucky, people will tell you how to make a code you need help with. If you're lucky, they will search through the forums and find you a post. If people are in a good mood, they will tell you to look through the forums, which really only happens when topics have been discussed HUNDREDS of times (like the hosting problems)

2) Experiment! Backup whatever code you already have, and then play around with the code! This is probobly the most effective way of code learning, besides demo, and people actually teaching you. (which is what I am doing currently with my Blinking problem, even though I asked on the forum while experimenting)

3) Read the blue book! One of the best resources on BYOND!

4) Look in the demos and libraries!

5) If all else fails, ask on the forums. But be polite. Say please and thank you. I'll admit I was a BIG jerk when I first started programming on BYOND. Search the forums with me as the author, and go to my first few posts. I was very annoying, and rude. For this, I apologize. Also, be patient and take your time! We're not going to use our time to help people who can't take a second to spell correctly and use proper grammar. I'm not saying 100% perfect, but try your best.

Thanks Camaro. But no, I'm not trying to be a moderator. Especially because of the fact there are better candidates than myself.
