I found this computer system on ebay:
This is my personal system that I have been usig for less than 6 months. It comes with a 15" TFT flat screen monitor which is a NEC Multisync LCD 1545V. Of coarse the cool Mac-like case that has the doors that fold down and the CD is ejected. For a video card it is using the Radeon 7500 All-in-Wonder card with the RF remote control. With this I have used it like tivo to record TV shows. I comes with all the connections to pull video in to the computer, the TV tuner, and all the connections to output video. I have 256 Meg of PC2100 ram installed with the system. The CPU is a 2.0 Gig Celeron Processor and the motherboard is a MSI MS-6547 with the fuzy-logic software that allows easy overclocking of the CPU. I have many times run this system at 3.0 Gig when I was processing video or sound files. It works great. One great thing about this system is that when I built it I was crazy about having a quiet system, so I bought a Zalman CPU cooler that alone cost me 50.00 with the copper heat transfer on the bottom. I am also including a nice Microsoft keyboard and also a microsoft optical mouse. The system does also come with a 48X CD-burner for making fast CD's. The software on the system is Windows XP Home Edition with SP1 installed and also Office XP. I will include the CD for the Windows XP but do not have the Office XP CD. I am also including Photoshop 7.0. I hate to sell this system but rent is coming due and it's been a bad month. Please E-mail me with any question and I will be glad to help. I accept PAYPAL also. S&H will be 30.00 on this system within the Cont. US. Sorry I don't have a digital camera, however the system still looks new and the pictures well represent the computer.

Sorry for the length -_-'
The bid price is $1 so far. Sounds like a rip-off to me. Not to mention the bid page is poorly constructed. Most people have charts, graphs and tables. This is just text. Anyway, thanks to all who help.

I dunno but I wouldn't buy hardware on eBay from anyone who has less than a large and stellar feedback rating. How is this guy's?

Like, everyone starts their items at really really cheap prices, and since it's so low it'll go up like crazy...
Its probably not a rip-off. It's probably only at that low a price because he knows that as it gets down the line the price will inflate so setting a starting bid wont matter presuming he did a check thing to make sure it gets over $x.

He only has 12, but they all seem good. Hmmmmmmmmmmm. The only reason I'm really asking this, is because I know people get ripped off on ebay, and my brother recently bought a Camcorder. It works, but the buttons do not do their correct function. Of course, I don't think he read the full description, becuase most people state things like that. He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, if ya know what I mean. I'm pretty sure you can contact ebay and tell them things like you paid and they didn't send, or it's broken and they said it wasn't, but I'm not sure where. Is it just the normal Contact Us link? Thanks.

hm...try to offer him a set amount if he send some pictures of it, have him check the system information(it shows max memeory, ect...) and take a screen shot/picture of the system information.
ie:
start menu/accessories/system tools/system information(for win 98)...
yea, just ask for a few pics ...if he really wants that rent money, he'll comply fully (unless rip off)

Actually, he didn't set a reserve.

That depends on how much he wants for it. Mind you good shipping is expensive. I should know. I ship out alot.

It cost me $20 to ship a PS2 Game in 2-3 Days. It cost me $40 to ship a Sega Saturn with 4 games and a contorller.

The system is a good one. In my opinion. As long as he dosent ask too much for it.

I myself got a laptop for $150. It is a Micron Go Book2. Has a P2 200MHZ CPU. A 6 Gig HD, cd-floppy sappable. 15'' screen and a external cd-rw drive at 50X speed. Modem Credit Card and a s-video out.

Id say the rig he is asking for is worht $300. First because its older, secondly because its used and getting computers online is a big risk, and thidly that hard drive is puny for a home PC. My paid $50 for a 180 Gig Hard drive at Sams CLub.

If it gets too high drop out.

at least you are getting the Windows CD with this system - a must have.
