Byond Dimes

I liked it better when their where Byond dimes. They made it so much eayser to buy little things on byond and to buy things like icons from Icon Chatterz and like buying training points from My Life As A Spy. Now I have to use my PayPal account to buy game subscription which is ok but now know body that I know will take PayPal money for byond dimes or for like training points it is to small of a transaction to make it worth anybody’s time. What I’m saying is I wish that whey would bring back the Byond Dime.

They cant really, it was making them lose money, stop complaining about now, its not going to do any good.

We're hard at work integrating PayPal seamlessly into the system. This will allow anyone to accept PayPal payments for subscriptions without necessarily needing a PayPal account (you still need one to withdraw your money eventually), and subscriptions will be activated automatically just as with dimes. I just spent a few hours on it this evening and things are shaping up nicely. I'm hoping to do limited beta testing soon, and then unleash the changes to everyone shortly after that.

We do realize that PayPal isn't an option for 100% of our users, but we believe that it will work for the vast majority. For those few who can't possibly get access to PayPal, we are investigating alternatives. But, first things first. For more background on the current situation, see [link].

Of course, any suggestions are welcome.

So essentially, there will be one big honkin' PayPal account, with everyone's money in it, which they can use as they please, but to withdraw, they obviously will need their own PayPal account. Right?

Er... as I understand it, everyone just uses their own Paypal accounts to buy things via the current subscription model. Just like you'd buy something from any online store.

I side with Garthor. BUT, They could use BYONDdimes for subscibing to CERTAIN games, but only being approved. I like it that you can still subscribe with BYONDDimes for the BYONDscape site.
