BYONDdreams, IvoryBYOND, and other BYOND-based sites

It is common courtesy to *ask* a website to be an affiliate *before* claiming such on your website - doing otherwise can often be offensive, or give a false sense of relationship between website owners and operators.

That said, the *only* websites that digitalBYOND currently has an agreement to partner/affiliate with are: BYOND, BYONDscape, and molotov.nu - these sites are "complete" and provide extensive information or services to the BYOND community, or (in the case of molotov.nu) they have written to me asking to partner with them in the past.

If you have not asked me and received an email agreeing to a partnership or affiliation, then you do not have the right to claim such a relationship.

digitalBYOND has no interest in a partner or affiliate relationship with fan websites or unfinished websites at this time. If you are in control of such a website, and you have digitalBYOND listed as an affiliate or partner, I ask that you please remove the link or banner.

BUT, if you list digitalBYOND under a separate "links" section, I have no problem with that as long as it is a text-only link (ex: "digitalBYOND.org" pointing to http://www.digitalbyond.org/).

BYONDreams is linking you as a graphical link, but it's not your logo. The links are there for more provided aid if BYONDreams cannot offer what you are looking for, but if you dislike your name being listed within the links I will gladly have it removed.

I would rather have it removed for now - *especially* since I do not want to be associated with your BYONDscape link - which currently points to a really disgusting porn-like website (something about goat sex)... not only is it yucky, but I think Gughunter would not find it too funny. It's disrespectful in some ways, unprofessional in others. I don't want digitalBYOND associated with that kind of humor, thank you.

i realize you may have done it in jest, but if anyone "outside the joke", or new to the community saw that, they would likely stop getting involved in BYOND or worse: telling people BYOND links to porn sites - something that would be detrimental to BYOND in general since it is currently going through some growing pains.
