I suggest making it so only new games are accepted, though, because if not then it could promote laziness and you'll just get a bunch of already finished games etc. Also, DO NOT do like Gughunter did with the one BYONDscape contest... If people worked hard to make a game, if no games are complete by the deadline, either have them do the unfinished games as entries or set the deadline to later to give people time to finish.

I agree, partially. I don't know if I'd recommend extending a deadline, but you should definitely make sure the expectations are clear. Here are some rules you might want to consider:

No "demos" or partially-completed games.

All content must be created by the author or properly licensed (i.e., no "ripped" icons or MIDI music).

Games with harsh language will not be accepted (or must provide content warnings before entering the game).

If you don't get a confirmation email from the contest organizer within 48 hours, re-send your submission.

This offer void where prohibited by law.

PRIZE IDEA

Ok, heres my idea for the prizes.

1st place: An unlimited subscription to BYONDscape, 100 dollars cash, and a title, like Something programmer, or something, so the 1st placer gets respect.

2nd place: Year subscroption to BYONDscape, 50 dollars cash and a title, described above.

3rd place: 25 dollars cash, title.

Well? I think this sounds reasonable. They are gaining the respect they deserve, the pay isnt too much for Dantom, especially within the given time limit, and 2 subscriptions to byondscape, only one is unlimted. I think this sounds very reasonable.

Count me in, as I said above but I am saying it again because it might be ignored. Put me down for Robot-Arena: Counterstrike's return. This title may change, please keep that in mind, but for now ill use this.
