Phoenix: Sundered Earth

First of all i wanted to say that i used to play this game for ages and i wanted to start playing this game now for quite a while. The new webclient gave me new hope to try and play this game once more like i used to and it´s the only way for me right now to play this game since i have a mac (Wine or something as parrallels is no option). The webclient seems to work just fine (i think) and the game starts after loading but at character creation i am only able to go as far as distribute the stat points. after proceeding i´m not able to do anything :/
If someone knows how to fix this please help.

I tried using several browsers ( safari, chrome, firefox) and have adobe flash installed and adblock etc. deactivated.
