What are you guys more into... Multi-player online games, or single-player games?
I myself am more into the puzzle games (which are single player), simply because there's absolutely no lag to worry about. There's many more reasons, such as you don't have to put up with DBZer's talking with all caps. I think BYOND would be better if we had more single player games. I also like OneFishDown's Driving Demo game. That's pretty fun(also single player).
I don't mind multi-player games, just not as much as singe-player games. There are some good things about MP games, though. For one thing, you won't get bored. You can always chat with the other players. Questing with your friends online is also pretty fun, especially when you're stronger than him, then you turn your back on him >:].
What are your opinions, and do ya know of any decent single-player games?

I'm making Dementophobia to have hours among hours of single player fun with multiple adventures, as wlel as having a flexable multiplayer. Single player games are often of higher quality as well, instead of that hit the pbag to PK crap. I don't mind multi-player games, just not as much as singe-player games. That is why I play no MMORPGS, or BYOND RPGs. I think Blizzard Entertainment has to be the best gaming company (They aren't as advanced as Square, but they are experienced in multiplayer.). |

I actually like multiplayer games that are meant to be played by 2-4 people since multiplayer gaming over a LAN is a lot of fun. I also enjoy single player games but not generally as much as a multiplayer game. Yeah, that is always fun. I'm running on a LAN, and me and a friend play some games that are good for LAN play. Such as Scar<s>e</s>y game. Especially that Stick Fighter game =). ~Cam |

I also like OneFishDown's Driving Demo game. Wow, people actually play that. Most of my games end up being single player games, or single player games that could work as multiplayer. I often make games that I'd like to play myself, and usually those kinds of games are single player. However, some might be 2-4 players, but aren't often "massively multiplayer". |

Wow, people actually play that. I'm not sure why you're so surprised =). It's a really fun game, on account it's hard to get the better cars such as the Supra and the Viper. Not to mention, you can deck-out your car =). <s> The AI is a little easy </s>(I've lapped them all with the Celica), but I'm sure you'll work on it down the road? More maps would be nice, too. Other than that, it's the single player game that I play the most. [edit] Most of the AI is easy ;] [/edit] ~Cam |

But I can't stand massivly multiplayer games since they tend to get crowded with annoying people who will stop at nothing to ruin the experiance of everyone else. Plus I prefer being able to talk in person with the other people I'm playing with and I generally can do this in an MMO game.
There are plenty of good single player games, just not on BYOND yet :P.
