hes talking about how to make patterns using GIMP...i don't know because i don't use that evil program.

Kunark has a point. I know what you mean (mostly) because I've used the GIMP, but most people haven't. Be clearer in what you're asking--or better yet, post on an actual GIMP forum. They have them, you know.

If you're asking how to add patterns of your own to the program, I believe there's a directory for the patterns.
