And what version of BYOND is that -_-
|
Destiny Online.
And to answer Jot's question, I believe it was 212, or somewhere near it. |
Hmmm....what did the look and pop features do exactly? The look looked (sorry XD) kinda useful :P

I remember those, I got her ejust as they went away, about a month after I arrived, it disappeared...
|
Man, the mapping is almost abysmal.... they use too much empty space... is that still available for download?
|
Believe me, it doesn't look that empty when you're playing, it looks very nice, actually. And no, it's not available for download.

I was always into filling every inch of the world with detail, because you can't garuntee that players are going to crowd every area in the game. As a matter of fact, players try to avoid other players in-game, usually...
Anyway, What I'm trying to say it, that the game looks nice, reminds me of ultima 6 or 7-2, but I think that the map is kind of plain... the grass has no variations in it... when I make maps, I add little random overlays to turfs, such as little rocks, flowers, bushes, sticks, etc... That is why my current game, Veritas looks so good, it's because I add things like rocks in rivers, and fallen leaves on the grass... |

I usually do this within the source code to have it randomly add variotions in tiles, so my game tiles have variation within the game but not in the editor. CTF2 is a good example of this :). |
