Anyone ever notice there seems to be a trend with games? Like out of nowhere a bunch of games of the same style just seem to pop-up... Like recently there's been a ton of different chat games comin out... I just felt that a little creepy for some reason.

When 1 stupid person releases the source to a stupid game, many stupid people get that source and release many stupid games.

A lot of games on BYOND are low quality, and because of this people tend to think "I could do it better", or in a lot of cases "Look how popular this guy is, I could do it better, thus I would be even more popular".
So if a idea behind a game is good or the game is popular, a bunch of people will try and make similar games.
