lemme guess... *cough* naughty site *cough* Nah, just kidding with you man. On your desktop you should see the internet explorer icon, you can right click on it and choose internet properties. You can delete your cookies, or your files or choose setting and view all your files and delete certain ones. Hope this helps =)
I don't know how to delete one address within the drop down menu, although I know how to get rid of it another way other than deleting it.

If you visit each site under the site you want out, the site you want out will be at the very bottom of the list.

All you need to do then is visit sites by manually typing in sites you haven't got listed in the menu and when you reach about the 20th site in the drop down menu, what I mean here is that once you have around 20 sites listed in the menu, the one you want out will/should be out, if now, go to a few more, and it will eventually be pushed out of the list.

My viewing is set to twenty, so, I count up how many sites I have listed, say I have 16 sites and one of those is one I want out, I type in 5 different sites manually and the one I want out gets pushed out.

I do make sure the ones I want out are at the bottom though ;)

You can delete all of them by clearing your autocomplete history.

I shouldn't have been watching HavenMaster's webcam?

It's my dad's work laptop, and he doesn't want my crap on there.

I don't really want to delete all of them. Just a certain one. They just can't make it simple as "right-click, delete"

They are in your HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs section of the registry. If you only want to take out one item replace the string instead of deleting the key since if you delete the key it wipes out all the ones below it.

Editing the registry is dangerous so if you don't know what I'm talking about DON'T try since messing up the registry is a very bad thing to do.

I have edited the registry before, so I do know what you are talking about. But can you break this down so I don't mess up my dad's computer? Just find the key, and replace it with something else?

Edit:
I cannot find a typedURL key.

The OS is Windows XP pro.

Same here. If you couldn't find the directory try doing a find on the URL you want to remove. That's how I got to the directory on my computer in the first place.

you and your porn airjoe.

[EDIT] Oh, get advance uninstaller pro 6.0 trial, it lets you select the cookie/URL you wish to delete, and it has some other nifty features. Just use google and search for it that way, laters.[/EDIT]

ooh! My problem was that I was going to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, instead of HKEY_CURRENT_USER. Thanks!

I changed the key, but it's still there. Do I ahve to restart the computer or something?

[edit2]
Oh, you have to change/delete the key/string when not in IE. Thanks a bunch!

Yeah IE probably loads up the setting when you start it up and saves them on exit. So if you change it while IE is open the current setup of IE will just get dumped back into the registry. You should change the key not delete it since if you delete it it wipes out all the ones after it.
