Has anyone else played this? I was considering making a BYOND port* of it, but I decided against it due to lack of time.
Anyway, it's a great game so check it out if you ever get the chance (It probably costs like $10 in a junk bin nowdays).

*I say port because it would be a direct copy of the multiplayer mode, not my own version of the game.

Heh I don't know if you'd still be able to find it in a junk bin :P. I got the packaged set(Lords of the Realm, Lords of the Realm 2, and the expansion for Lords of the Realm 2) for 10$ on my 16th birthday which happins to be a bit over 5 years ago. But it is a pretty fun game and they are comming out with a third one :).

Looks especially cool since you can build your own castle fortification layouts like in the first Lords of the Realm. Which makes me wonder why they only lets you have a set of predefined castles in Lords of the Realm 2.

That was one of my only problems with the game, that and the AI was a little stupid.

LotR III sounds cool, but I think they might have changed a few too many of the fundimentals. So it won't be good in the same way the second is.
