i need a free wav to midi converter if anyone knows where i can get them, it would help. or someone should make a wav to midi converter as a BYOND program if its possible.

Look for "Widi" on yahoo. That one was kind of crappy compared to other trials, though. Music Masterworks has a better one, but it's not free.

also check out the freeware multimedia/audio tools available at http://www.webattack.com - i recall seeing such a program there at one time. I got my .wav to .mp3 converter there.

Ah, lordy, trust me on this, you don't want to use one o' these,...

...the results turn out very very crummy, and you would spend more time trying to clean the file up manually than just make a MIDI from scratch...

Of course, I've only tried FREE version of these WAV==>MIDI programs, and never a professional-ish one.
