People make money off it, that doesn't mean that's all it's about. You seem to see the world in terms of all or nothing terms... people can't make money off something without it being all about capitalism, if anybody enjoys the fruits of capitalism then that means their life would be empty without them, etc... that's the world you live in, where everything is very rigidly defined... life and the world are both a hell of a lot more complex than that.

The concept of "Christmas", like any intangible concept (and probably most tangible ones), means as many different things as there are people on the planet who know about it.

Sorry, but these 'debates' are very annoying, and take up a huge ammount of space on these forums. They push all the new topics pages back when the debate reaches, say, 100 posts. Sorry, but please, don't start debates just because you are bored,

Tiko was not even nearly trying to flame you. He was stating what most of us feel; that these debates are pointless and a simple waste of forum space and Dantoms bandwidth.

He was not saying you start them all, just simply that too many are started, and not many, if any, serve a real purpose.
