I heard recently that Dan's aim is "BYONDan Owner". I've imed him and said if I had a chance to get my game published. He said that he needs to see my source code (even the icons). Then, in my head, I was thinking, if he needed to see the icons, why can't he just download a run a game that I already uploaded seperate and only Access by invites or subscription. Surely, Dan can get in without any problem since he created BYOND. I also asked him that since he created BYOND, of course he might have a program that can see the entire game icons/codes for the game without having the owner send it to him. I also said that what if people who doesn't know Dan's AIM handle, they can just submit their published games, and it might get published, even though they uploaded the game as World Executable and Dan download and check that game if its qualified, so it got me there that you don't need to send him the code. I also told him to prove that if he's Dan by posting something in the forum and telling me beforehand what he is going to post. He said that apparently he had no time for this nonsense or whatsoever. He also tried to act real by telling me not to give him my password and saying that many people gave their password to him and he didn't need it. But the main reason why I posted this because I want to know if "BYONDan Owner" is a fake?

You did indeed think this through; you could have saved a step by casting a little doubt on the twit who told you BYONDan Owner was Dan's AIM handle. Another bit of common knowledge is that Dan has been so busy that he's been mostly away from the community; others do the game reviewing. Then of course, why would Dan have interest in anyone's source code, except to quash BYOND bugs? Dan does not use any public form of instant messaging, nor does Tom, they have and ICQ number, but it has been inactive for well over 2 years, so any screen-names you get telling you otherwise are basiclly fake.

And this is the reason why they havn't successfully outlawed abortions... Geez, a little common sense can go a long way these days.

-Dan isn't a HUB reviewer.
-No one ever needs to see the environment files. Even if they are working on the project with you they don't need to see the entire project.
-Dan wouldn't contact you over AIM, and you definantly shouldn't contact him. AIM is a personal device, so I doubt Dan would want people contacting him reguarding business, especially HUB entries, using AIM.
-Your game will be reviewed, then if it meets the requirements it will be accepted. Annoying moderators won't get your game on the HUB faster.
