Well, lets think this through carefully together. Getting it yet? No? I will help you then. How would you be able to use two completely unrelated programs to make a game that is compatible with both systems? I will let you answer it.

hmmmmm if i knew that do u think i would has put this post up
Your question doesn't make sense the way you've worded it. They're separate programs, they make separate styles of games in separate formats, so of course you can't use RPGmaker with BYOND.

Or did did you actually mean can you use graphics and sounds from RPGmaker? If so, that's what you should have asked... people can't answer you if they don't understand your question, and if you don't make yourself clear, not everyone will bother to sit there and figure out what you mean.

Anyway, if that is your question... graphics is graphics and sounds is sounds. You can use graphics or sounds from anything in BYOND, as long as they're not in an unsupported format.

The question of "should you" use graphics ripped from a commercial game product is an entirely different matter entirely... I would say no, absolutely not, but as long as you're not trying to sell copyrighted graphics or no one receives a cease-and-desist order, my opinion is just my opinion.

If you want to be both evil and unoriginal at the same time... use all the RPGmaker graphics you want!

Your still not thinking. The answer is no, quite simply. They do not use the same language, they are not affiliated in any way, and rpgmaker games simply do not compare with the capabilities of BYOND. Now before you ask another question, try and find the answer for yourself.
