No thanks. Actualy, i tryed Counter-Strike and didnt like it very much. Now if anyone has Call of Duty, i will play them. I agree with those who have already said this. Counter-Strike is over rated. Not saying it's a bad game, just not worthy of being the number one FPS(ok, halflife would be the number one FPS, CS being the number one mod for it). I have seen many better FPS, and I'm sure i will see many more.

Today some of us that play Counter-Strike decided to get our act together and we paid for a server... Ealier today I tried to join your server, but I couldn't because you don't have the latest version. But, I have been playing Counter-Strike for around 3 years now. I wouldn't call my self an "elitist," but I am pretty good. You can get the new patch at; http://www.planethalflife.com/cs. There is almost always a long wait to download it, but it becomes worth it. |

I'm afraid not, we use the steam 1.6 version. Are you using that? I did take a look for updates.

I notice the website is still up, but I've failed to connect to the server. Just wanted to check it out. Is this still around? If not, any plans on bringing it back? I've beenn playing CS for about 6 months, and do alright most of the time. Haven sent me the clan spray. Would love to get a game going.

The server is gone. It has been for a while. I'd love to get a clan back together though. Xooxer and I both suck, so there's no skill level requirement. Yeah, I used to be decent, but uh... Just let me know.

Jermman, if you're decent, you should join up with us. We need someone who doesn't totally suck.

"It was my friend", comma placement regardless, it is a universal phrase of excellence. If you get busted, in trouble, or just trying to stay out of the way: "It was my friend" *Also use appropriate hand gestures*. If you're torturing someone, and they blurt out "Was that a drill bit you scraped along my arm just then?" "It was, my friend." "What's that you're eating?" "It was my friend." If you're watching the Adam's family, and you get sucked into the TV- having to live in their world for a few years and consequently end up getting in a row with Cousin "It", you can say "It, was my friend." Universal phrase. |

Is there some kind of exploit that would actually make this feasible, or is this just another case of people not understanding how computers work? "Ha ha... I've uploaded my virus into the central core and now, I just have to search through the hex code for my team and change the word 'miss' to 'hit head'. Voila!" |

People can run programs on their local computer that do the aiming for them. They just have to click. There are measures to prevent aim-bots and other cheats, like Punkbuster, but these security measures are gotten around eventually. The good thing about Punkbuster and other fairly frequently updated systems is that they prevent cheating from becoming too widespread. If a method is found around Punkbuster, or whatever, and it becomes widespread, it's easily blocked in the next patch. |
