Is 2.5 meg and up to big for a byond game?

If you can get people to download the resources before they join the game, then no.

You can probably compress it though. Use PNGs instead of BMPs, and encode your WAVs (Garthor sent in a stringer report about it to BYONDscape, it should still be on the front page of BYONDscape.com).
