I know this is off topic, But you know what ticks me off about today's horror movies? Super-human paranormal killers. Last night i saw the movie Shredder, Which is about three killers who kill the snowboarders on their mountain because of a before accident that happened on the mountain with snowboarders. It wasn't no ghostly killer with the power to take an axe to the head but still live. It was three humans that could die just as easy as the victums. I mean what happened to those good ol' movies where a maniac human killer gets revenge on people who messed up his childhood. Yeah, an occasional super-human killer movie like Wrong turn would be good but what the frig is with ALL these movies. But all of the movies out today are super-human.

I thought the Evil Dead (and Army of Darkness, which I admittedly haven't seen, but is based off of the Evil Dead movies) were more humorous than scary?

Did the original chainsaw massacre have a super-human guy or was he just some guy with a chainsaw?

You forgot alot. Ohhh yeah, those are all really good. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is more like a serial/horror where some inbreed idiots live way out in the middle of no where and slaught people whenever they get the chance. What some people are lead to believe (and this is mainly the movie's fault) is that the movie, Texas Chainsaw Massacre really happened, when in reality it was a ficitional movie based off the murders of domer or something. Who would dig up corpses and eventually kill people, and use their skins for like clothes or lap shades. |
Make sure they are UNCUT
Dawn of the Dead
Day of the dead
Evil Dead
Evil Dead 2 aka Dead by Dawn
Army of Darkness
Night of the living dead
The Re-Animator (if you find the 2nd one, DONT rent it)
The House
The House 2
There are prolly more, but these are classics. I not only have a beef with stuff like stuff you dislike, but I don't think movies are as violent as they used to be or should be
