Realm of Mordor

I don't want to make it look like I'm using the BYOND forums to advertise my game, but I'm just letting everyone know that Realm of Mordor has been moved to a different programming language called Visual Basic.

I'm currently looking for some testers to help us find bugs with the game, so if you are interested I would like you to visit the following url: http://dbzeta.com/rom.html and read everything located on that page.

Hey rae. Thats pretty kewl that your doing it in VB, i've been trying to learn VB for awhile now but with no luck. Could you direct me to some begginers tutorials?

Realm of Mordor looks alot like a online game i used to play using something called the Odyssey Engine or something.

I believe that game is called Odyssey Classic Online, and has been discontinued by the owners for quite a while. It was actually a friend which taught me how to code in Visual Basic. I thank him very much, because of him I put together a game. :)

Actully, I was there near the end of Odyssey. It was a good game, and if yours is anywhere near as good, you can bet as much money as you like I'll be playing.

My friend Grim aka The Grim or Grimmy was a pretty good OLC for Odyssey, and he and a number of people have taken it upon themselfs to re-create the odyssey game system. So you may not hear much about it, but trust me its still alive and kicking.

Good luke Rawekon. And FYI I love the cloud overlay effect, I may have to try and make one for byond. Maybe make it animate tho. :-/

I have two friends that know it, unfortunately they don't know it very well, have worse programming theory than me (if that's possible!) and even I know it better than them! Even more unfortunately, I don't know it very well at all either, though I am slightly better than them! I must say that RoM is incredible! I could never dream of creating anything like that, especially over VB.

Looks cool, Im starting to learn VB. I've made a map editor! Anyway..I wanna test it out.
