Hey Sorry about that Icon Copyright thing. I guess I didn't know all the facts. Anyway I don't know if this is in your power but....... I am making a "cough"DBZ Game"cough" and I was wondering if this one could be the last one allowed to be made. I'm not getting cranky or anything but I am tried of seeing all DBZ games and even I know your thinking "then why are you making one" I am making one because none of them are realistic enough. I am justing asking nicely that if this possible that My game be the last allowed on the Hub. But please when and if you reply, could you do so in a nice manner. Thank you and have a good day.
I think I speak for Dantom, and Dantom Staff when I say, No. Although I could be wrong.
Well frankly, that would be going against the entire idea of BYOND. I find it outrageous that you could even suggest something like that! It is one of the most selfish sounding(no offense) requests I have heard on these forums, and I highly doubt you will get granted such a thing. I don't like DBZ games but taking away the right to make a type of game based on somebody's request is inconceivably wrong. Plus, you may earnestly mean what you say about making a new type of one, but thats been said a million times, and has yet to be seen. Funny enough, making a "realistic" DBZ game? Isn't the entire series based on the physically impossible. Sorry if I come off as offensive in this post, but it just ticked me a bit when I read it.

Frankly if we were gonna cut off new DBZ games entirely at any point, we would already have done so.

Yep, nothing screams realism like a tailed alien blasting things with mind power.

Seriously though, if I had a buck for everyone who said they were going to make a DBZ game unlike any other because all the others out there weren't good enough, I wouldn't have to work.

I am justing asking nicely that if this possible that My game be the last allowed on the Hub.

If you mean as an upload, you're a bit late for that. If you mean just as a hub entry, then again, if we had any intention of cutting off future DBZ games we would have done so by now.

Everyone says they are going to make the best dbz game ever.....and it always ends up like all the others...and they are all the same......

Not all of them are the same. DB Pee is definetly by far the most origianl DB game, albeit, the most disturbing. Then there was that one where you click the icons of DB characters as they scroll by (forgot the name).

There's DBTC, made by SuperSaiyanGokuX, which is a good RP game with a genuine DB world map and accurate locales. He even did a good job at keeping the characters true to their, uh, character. heh.

The latest non-generic DB game to come along is Legend of the Dragon Balls, by Goku72. The HUD is superb, the character icons are right on, and combat takes some level of skill to master, as you can control the path of your ki attacks.

Just becuase 99% of the DB "games" here are pretty much Genesis and Zeta rips, doesn't mean all are.

Not recent, just the latest, because non-generic DB games don't come out very often. :P

Original in this sense means something that game has that other dbz games don't have, not just not a rip.

and if you *could* be wrong, then don't speak for the staff. maybe it would be better to actually let the staff respond here, instead of clogging the forums with *possible* answers.

Thats why he said, "I think", he was not sure.

For 1 digi, I knew the answer, or at least was pretty sure, and 2, if by some slim change I was wrong (which is very doubtful) I could have been corrected. And really I wasnt speeking for Dantom, or any of you guys, mainly because I think wrong :P

Well.. I'll admit the icons in my game are ripped, but im gradually working against that. The coding I've been working on for about 5 months now, and I don't like to be underplayed on that =/

Vash_616 speaks the truth! Dragonball Online is original, brand spankin' new icons (non-Zeta orientated!), map, programming, and best of all, new ideas! We have a ton of ideas in concept, and come release date Dragonball Online will no longer be dubbed a "Zeta rip". I invite even the most hardcore RPG fan to join our Open Beta, scheduled to release in the May - June time periods. You won't be disappointed, :-).
