Ok, i just figured for a one time thing, but if you guys say no, then no. But i still say convert the dimes to paypal(somehow). Then pay the winners using paypal.

I would like to know if anybody is working on entries for the board game contest. I just started work on a board game-type game which I will enter if it completed in time (but that is not the reason why I made it, so it will come out, sooner or later), but what about the other?
Has anyone started on a project? splatty |

I was planning to. I have a few projects that are on and off, which are generally spread out between my spare time.
To be honest, I'm not expecting for any of them to be ready soon, though. |

I haven't actually started yet, as I've been working the last few days, but I do have a pretty good idea what I'm going to do. When I was working on Chinese Checkers, I had designed what I thought was a nifty little variant on paper, but sort of lost interest in actually coding it. It looks like this might be a good time to start it back up.

Are there going to be back up judges? I want to be a judge, but I really want to enter something. So, will there be extra judges, or to make it fair should I just not enter/not judge.
Airjoe Note: Im not deciding which I'll do yet, so don't take m off the judges list. If I think I have something worth entering by the deadline, I'll tell you. |

You can judge & enter... Though you can't vote for your own game, you have to vote for someone else's which means you could be voting the odds against you.
If you want to enter something, I suggest not being a judge as you probably already realize will be better. Don't worry about judges. We will have enough by that time for sure. |
I noticed the asinine "rule" that single-playable games would be prefered or possibly mandatory is no longer up there. Was that wisely changed or did some benevolent vandal do a snip-snip?
And gads, it was asinine. AI is hard; even in a very simple board game it's difficult to decide on choices for an opponent. Leaving that rule (or guideline) in place would basically ensure that only the dirt-simplest games with the absolute best programmers would make it in. Many quite playable, worthy games would fall by the wayside. Anyway, if that's out then I might come up with something myself. Lummox JR |

Can I sign myself up even though I'm not 100% sure I can even make the game?
[nevermind - I already signed up] - If so, where do I sign up? tsfreaks |

Bah, the dimes don't matter to me, but i'll enter in a submission for the sake of BYOND. I know i won't win, because Crispy will most likley be entering.. but it'll be fun :)

You better hurry then - The deadline is only 2 weeks away! Hehe it is also the day I get out of school, and Stealth 2k's birthday... Maybe it's a conspiracy too...

Eek. I forgot about this. Hmm, I wonder what I can whip up in a couple of days... probably nothing good, so don't worry too much about competition from me. =)
