I'm not sure if either of you know what your doing, those are both completely different types of ram. Its not interchangeable you know.

ok well can someone show me the type of RAM I would need to host a server like on Sieka or MJ? BTW I have a Presario 6000

Go to your local BestBuy, Office Depo, Office Max, or other store that sells ram and ask them. They will be able to tell you, they have a refrence book.
