Well this is what happened. I went with my uncle (He got me into Metallica, so yeah I kind of owe it). We went up into our seats...Seat 306, Row "R"...aka The last two seats in the house, all the way up. We stayed there for Godsmack. Then these people come, and say we're in their seats. My uncle was all pissed. So during the intermission between Godsmack and Metallica, so we went over to the first level (right above the pit). The guard there was like, "Hey you guys. Give me $50 and I'll let you into the G.A.(The pit)." and this is a really good deal, because pit tickets are $300 for Metallica. And the tickets we had were like $100. So my uncle and I paid $25 each. And we were in the pit for the whole Metallica part. IT WAS AWESOME! They sounded fantastic. They even added additional songs after their official ending song (Enter Sandman), because everyone was chanting "WE WANT MORE!!". So James Hetfield was like, "You guys are cuss awesome. The next song we'll play...Hell I don't even know if I remember them. You guys remember Kill 'em All?! Hehehe...We havn't played songs from this in about 100 years." Then they start rockin' songs from their first album. It was crazy.
