ok Iam thinking about turning from BYOND to something 3d and iam wondering if Darkbasic is anygood... http://www.thegamecreators.com/ it sounds good to me but just checking I wanna get out of the whole pixel based game in all but if its not good I guess ill stay with BYOND :P

pro is what you want, don't bother with classic..
It's going to run you I think 70 USD... and it's worth every dollar.. It's still a bit buggy but a pending update to fix most major bugs is coming within probably the next three to four months..
I love it, it's simple, fast, and the best 3d basic language out there.
I've never used blitz basic but I do know that pro is moving far faster in terms of features. This makes pro a bit more buggy than blitz, but given time most bugs will be gone..
and besides, pro has a 3 month trial i believe, or at least one month..download it and see what you think for yourself.
