I must still remove it...if your in windows XP you should be able to find the .exe file and turn it off before it starts "flooding" then you can remove somthing in your registry so it won't turn on when you boot up (although the virus will attempt to rewrite it self again to the regestry) that's what I did. but poor norton 2003 cannot pick it up any more...Very nasty little Trojan. I don't even know how my computer was infected. I would give you the website that gave me this information but i can't find it. And again good luck! <edit> By the way I don't even remember what the .exe file is called, so uhm just close things that look out of the ordinary if you can show all the processes happening. Also you might be able to help me I don't even know how to get into safe mode in windows xp so I can remove it my self. Oh by the way a quick google search turned up the webpage again. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/ backdoor.coreflood.html It doesn't really have a fix it has some patch for outlook express which it apparently affects, I don't even have it installed my self </edit> |

This trojan does the following: Allows a hacker to gain unauthorized access to an infected computer.
You also might have another Virus or Trojan so please run a full system scan in windows safe-mode. make sure to disable system restore while cleaning.
