This looks like something Dareb would make... Is he back?
|
dude...chill. it's just a joke. we wanted to see how many people would actually join it :D it'll be gone in the morning. besides, there isn't even a hub entry for it.
|
We're just spending our time there as a chat. That is our means of keeping people out, and keeping ourselves entertained at the same time. If you don't like it, you don't have to join.

We give sufficient warning that the user is not welcome within the environment. What sufficient warning? |
My point exactly. Anyhow, I suppose you are welcome to do what you want with your game.. though the insult could be taken off and the spamming removed. Seems you got the attention either way.
|
The 'You can leave if you want' 'Okay then, we'll continue to spamminate you' gives the subtle hint that the people arn't welcome. They can choose to leave, or they're staying with the spam of their own free will.

Ok, Ok, We all apoligise for the aggrivation, but as someone said, this is our environment, and if people want to join an put up with what ever is inside it, then so be it. The unpublished list comes with a content warning anyway. So there.

You know. We never actually planned on creating an actual game, and just using that to get attention, but still. It's an idea. But meh. I've got other games to work on. I'm a very busy man.

The hub is not there for you to put up bogus non-games just to spam people who check it out. It's one thing to do what you want in your own game, but quite another to use the hub as a means of just getting attention and attacking anyone who checks on it. If you want to pull that crap, do it somewhere else. Lummox JR |
Well... (just to get myself out of trouble) There was a list of 'trusted' people who didn't get spammed with the 'go away' messages and we sat there for quite a while chatting about quite a few things. So it wasn't REALLY a bogus game.
But sorry all the same. =) |
it's down, for good, and won't ever be back up. we were simply trying to prove the stupidity of the average byond user these days. it was just a little joke, and nothing malevolent was intended. to those that were somehow offended by this expiriment, i extend my deepest apologies, as well as my regrets that you couldn't see just how enjoyable this was.

If you don't want certain people, make an invite-only hub entry or set it up just to eject them, and better still make the thing invisible on the pager. Lummox JR |

You put up a misleading item in the pager that people had every reason to believe was legitimate, then insulted and spammed pretty much anyone who joined it. Heck, at least DBZ:Ultriment didn't spam people! Your joke was in bad taste and upset a lot of people for legitimate reasons. The half-apology implying they shouldn't have been offended is no more amusing. Lummox JR |
