I was about wondering everyones opinion on this. If you could sum up how you rate the majority of gamers on BYOND, how would you?
I know back when I was on it would have been "DBZers", just wondering if the charts have been dented at all.

No you are wrong, The DBZERS that have been here awhile are being converted to an anime naruto with an actual storyline and a show that doesnt have fighting every episode.

Actually, most everyone's major disappointment in DBZ is that there isn't fighting every episode, they all talk too dang much =P

Here is the stats based on what I've seen:
30% play crappy DBZ games. 25% play crappy multiplayer RPGs. 15% play crappy building/trading games. 10% play annoying yu-gi-oh games (But I bet they are still better than the crappy DBZ and RPGs.) 5% play Inuyasha (spelling?) games. 5% play Naruto games (These actually look better than all the other anime.) 5% play half-decent Dragon Warrior games 2% play cool strategy channel games. 1% play good DBZ games. 1% just do chatters. 1% play MLaaS and Proelium. But 105% still bow to almight Kunark -_- If only my arch-nemesis, "Stealth 2k", Doesn't foil my plans for world domin... Erm, yeah. I'm sorry to say it, but when i first joined BYOND (before I created this key, I used guest for like a year) but anyway, All I really saw was games that were florishing, alot of people playing a few games, not to where there were like 1000 games being hosted, with only a few players.
I think BYONDs gona die in a few more years if this keeps up. Come on guys, spark some orrigonality in your games! | |

Yeah, I guess you would consider it anime, but its original.
When I was younger I found drawing anime was a good way for me to express myself, I could draw whatever I wanted, create this entire world of heroes and demons, make stories all up in my head and have them play out in my life, and it helped me get through.. ...That is the originality I want to share with BYOND, that you can find something inside you to create very wonderful things ^.^ Sounding like a Hippy, Maniack | |

Well, if they had a brain, you'd see them all in the great strategy games and board games, and people wouldn't make the crap in the first place :P

You don't see as much with something like RPG Maker, either, because it's so easy that nobody feels like stopping once they get to the "crap" point. So why does BYOND have so many lousy ones? I'm guessing that it's because of a few reasons. Firstly, BYOND is used because of its excellent network capabilities. It also seems to be geared towards RPG-type games. "Online" and "RPG" together are hard to get right, though. Just look at all the failed and cancelled MMORPGs from professional developers. | |

Its like this joke, how many sayains does it take to screw in a light bulb? Answer: Just one but it takes 5 episodes. They fight every other episode and with naruto they fight but its not every other episode and people actually do die and do not come back unlike dbz so i think thats a reason the DBZERS are becomming naruto fans, as for you saying theres not enough fighting? When i watched DBZ back in the day i got tired of all the fighting/grunting noises every episode. --Goz | |
