I saw a commercial last night for a new gaming system, it looked really weird, and the commercial DID NOT even show any games for it or anything, all it was, was like showing what it looked like and its name, and I can't remeber the name now, it was somehting like the Xioa or something.

Does anyone else know what Im talking about?
Do you remember what channel the commercial was on?

That would be a scam, not a gaming system.

Actualy, that is a real system, but it works diffrent than most. It is a monthy fee to play games. Basicly it is a Game System mixed with a MMORPG style paying system.

The Phantom is a rip off if you ask me. Its bascilly a computer without a CD-ROM drive, that requires you to have a Cable internet connection just for it to be of any use.

I mean, even when you go to the web site and check out the specs, they are just like a computer, it even uses some sort of windows OS on it.

I'd rather just buy a brand new computer instead of waste my time and money on the phantom.

I think what I saw on TV was the Gizmando, if I still have the web site link, Ill link you to it, its a new portable.

The new Zodiac is far from what Id call a system. All it is, is a advanced Palm OS device with more buttons and a analog stick on it so its easier to play Palm OS games on it.

And unless your going to pay around $200 just to use that cool Nintendo Emu on it, most Pocket OS games either dont use buttons, or suck.

I agree, but it is not a scam. I figured that 24 month contract at $29.99USD a month is $719.76 total. So why not build a computer for $500-$600 and then buy games( You have to buy most of the games for the phantom anyways, and at retail prices, plus, they are winXP games, 100%, no conversion for the system, because it is a PC, with winXP on it). I see no way that this system can be a value in any way. You do not have to buy the system if you sign the 24 month contract. It is a big ripoff. If you watch the product demo(Takes forever to load), they tell you the stats, and it is nothing impressibe. It runs on a costom made keyboard with a standard mouse and a PS2ish control. It is just a PC with a pretty cover. A miniATX board and some skills with crafting and I could have the same thing.
