In addition to all of the other great films mentioned in this thread, I'd like to toss in (in no particular order, other than how they pop into my mind):

Jurassic Park

The LoTR trilogy (I can't believe no one mentioned this yet... unless it was in one of the two posts I didn't read...lol)

Ghostbusters 1&2

Harry Potter 1-3 (what can I say? I'm a fan of the books, and I enjoy the movies as well... movie 4 is going to be the best of all...)

Shawshank Redemption (one of the few movies that I can watch more than once in a short span of time)

A Christmas Story (wouldn't be Christmas without it)

The Matrix Trilogy (yes, I really liked two and three, regardless of how "crappy" most people seem to think they are...)

Spiderman 1&2 (can't wait for 3!)

Batman 1&2 (the others are alright at best... I can stomach them, but they don't compare to the Tim Burton ones...)

Goonies

Gremlins 1&2

Pulp Fiction

Basically, most of the movies off of this list (I had trouble remembering some, so I looked it up...lol):

That's because the movie is so damn long, by the time you're at the end, you forgot the begining :-P
An approximate top ten in no particular order:
Bridge on the River Kwai
Patton
Star Wars IV
The Godfather
Ten Commandments
The Outlaw Josey Wales
The Black Cauldron
Planet of the Apes (old)
The Green Mile
Braveheart

These would be my favorites, not necessarily those that I'd consider the best. (Though many would be)

All of the prophecy movies
//Christopher Walkin is the best!
The Goonies
Friday the 13th part VII
//The one with the psychic chick
Any Kevin Smith movie
//Chasing Amy is my favorite
Waynes World I and II
and
Willow

Well, those are all of my favorite movies off the top of my head.
