Hee, you're actually the second person to send me an invite... someone else must've seen my message and beat you to it. :P I know some people hoard accounts, but I can't seem much point to having two 1,000 MB accounts... I don't know if there's a way for you to take back the invite or not.

GMail doesn't provide POP3 or SMTP, so people have developed software that runs POP3 and SMTP servers on your machine, and retrieves/sends your Gmail.

I do not mind not having a Gmail account. I do not even want one. Lol. I have an E-Mail Address for AOL, MSN, and Yahoo. What do I need Gmail for? The E-Mail Address's for those programs work perfectly fine for me and I have had no problems with them. You send stuff, you get sent stuff. It is the same exact thing. It will not saying something like "You cannot send this file! It is too big!" Why would it say that? One gig of free space? I do not know much about the computer so I do not know how much that is, but, why would I want to keep E-Mails I do not want anymore? I would just delete it anyways. Having E-Mails for AOL, MSN, and Yahoo is no different then Gmail. You can send stuff and get sent stuff. So what is the difference? The one gig? Why is that so good? The E-Mails for the other programs have a lot of space as well and it always lets you send stuff. I just do not understand this whole Gmail thing....
