Another week, another hurricane. This one is supposed to be directly over my house about 6pm tommorrow. *sigh* Another week of madness at work. Another week with no power or water.
Anyone got a nice house in Arizona they'd like to trade?

That wouldn't work. People only donate to cleverly thought out foundation names, like "MADD" and "PETA". "Ssfff" doesn't slide off the tounge too well :P
|
You could always go to the basement and then come out when it is the eye of the storm... Or if you want a more dramatic climax, you could come out in the middle of the storm and think the storm is over like everyone seems to do in the movies :P

This is Florida. If you dig down about 5 feet, you hit water. No basements around here...

Well, all I have to say is, good luck.
Although, you can drive out of the state before the hurricane reaches your house. |

Yeah, make one of those little sites that describe you and the problem you have and put a donate link on there and ask people to contribute to help you out.
www.helpflick.com Hi, I'm my name is [Flick], I live in Florida, or at least I used to before my house was repeatedly destroyed by numerous hurricanes. I'd like to save up enough money to move away from this, and if you'd like to help, please donate: << FLICK's PAYPAL DONATION LINK HERE >> |

Sometimes people ask how I can live in California for fear of earthquakes. Last earthquake I felt was, um, heck I can't even remember. Meantime I turn on the TV for the annual "screw Florida" weather festival... |
Speaking of hurricanes and rough weather, check out the devastation they're experiencing over in Sweden:

Sure, you can all make light of that horrible tragedy...
But what that caption failed to mention was that there was someone in that chair... |

Maybe you could start a Save the Flick Foundation?
