Anyhoo, Goz,... Try "The Sims 2" and I hear Star Wars Battlefront is out, not sure though. :) ~Kujila |

I just picked up Evil Genius. Much more entertaining than the Sims 2, if you want to get away from real life.

Uhhg. We all know to search google! Why does everyone need to post "look through google" for everything??? If they came to these forums, it was because they want more help finding what they want, or a better oppinion/"what's the best" comments from people.
Search engines are so cramped up with useless material you can't find anything useful in them. |

Me and my dad rented battlefront last night. Fun, but not that much gameplay if you don't have a modem. Took maybe 6 or 7 hours to play through all modes.

Go to www.cheatcc.com and then go to PC and then release dates. I use that to find tons of games being released during the month and far ahead.
P.S. I saw a PC game for the first time in stores running 50 bucks so I'm figuring its new. It is called Total War: Rome, or something like that. If someone happens to buy it, let me know if its good. I like games that evolve around roman times with war. -S2k |

Psssh, I'll be much more helpful, as I notice not everyone likes to be so honest.
If you use BitTorrent, SuprNova is a great place to look. They have every damn thing you could ever want: http://suprnova.org/ But if you want to go with a more expensive route, you can buy a modded Xbox. I have this sweet little package with a 280GB HD, Mod Chip, LED Blue Lights, Upgradded DVD Rom Drive, Upgradded Ram, Extra Fan and a Mod Dip Switch, so i can still use Xbox Live with Orginal Media. Not to mention it covers just about every emu you could ever want for Xbox. Currently I have Mame, Snes, Sega, Gameboy, Gameboy Colour, Gameboy Advanced, Neogeo and PS1 and they are freaking great. You can also play DVDs and back em up on your Xbox without the need for the DVD Playback kit, but if you wanted to great REALLY fancy like me, you still buy the DVD Playback kit, to do the on/off remote mod, so you dont even need to get up to turn the dam thing on! It'll cost you in the rage of $250-$400 for a brand new, totally modded out Xbox, but being able to play every single game that is currently out without a disk is frigging sweet. Im glad I bought it! |

The later being Shogun Total War & Medieval Total War. The game plays a little like risk & civ but you get to control your troops in large-scale battles. You can also fight historic battles like seen on decisive battles on history channel. I haven’t play Rome yet, only medieval. Rome is supposed to have more things to do. |

So you think it is worth the 50 bucks? Are the other two worth checking out?

The Total War series is pretty fun. It models real-world battles, which is cool; no tank-rush style gameplay here. It's kind of cool knowing that you could actually use the in-game strategies in a real-world situation. (Well... you know... if you time-travelled back to 2000 years ago.)
I say get it. =) |
