Is there a such thing as a "female coder*,(just a little joke)but seriously I know young females are in to boys or dolls but i'm into girls have a gf at school(not on conputer you smart mouths) and have a life.Also depends on the acting type such as prep,goth,nerd.

BYOND has a few known female programmers, Zilal is one of them. Hedgemistress was one of the few, but she left us :(, I know there's more than two, but I don't know any keynames offhand.

I know several girls who can program, although not with DM.
I taught my step-sister some DM, but she doesn't like video games so it was sort of a pointless venture. | |
Girls usually don't have the urge to make games, so not many of them do. There are a few who have, though.
Also, what is your second sentence about? Are you bragging or are you bashing people?? I am an "anti-socialite", semi-stereotype (That is the only thing about me they can stereotype me at all, is that I hate all the cliques. And I mean ALL cliques.), I have a smart and beautiful girlfriend, and the only thing that makes me come here and program is I like to be creative. I RARELY play video games, ever, I'm quite athletic, but I am also geeky in some ways (I like to program, I like a lot of morbid fantasy, I like martial arts, etc.). I hardly think what clique you are in or if you have a life or not has much to do with programming. Having a life, a little, maybe, but most people CHOOSE to do this over other stuff, like I do sometimes, and it IS their life. | |

That is so shady why you would give people classes. Everyone is a person and you cant characterize someone as a Goth. Now i dont know if you treat them all you same but if you do that is sick. Also it is what makes all of my gothic friends mad. Actually most of my friends are Gothic i know i may not seem like the person to have gothic friends but i do. also all of my friends are cool and we go to sweet concerts. So to sum it up kids...

Applying gender casts aren't cool! There are going to be many that don't fall into one category or the other. I've helped one female coder learn the basics in DM, though she didn't have the patience to listen to a twenty minute lecture let alone program a game.

I have been a big role player since I have been 10 (table top rpgs, I'll be 20 this year) and have only seen 2 or 3 girls grace our group with their presence, and they were all weird. One had a split personality that started fires, and actully stared our GMs kitchen on fire, the other screwed like 4 of the guys out of our group of 12, then fights broke out and after that, the group kind of died away. I'm not saying only weird girls like to role play or anything. One of my Girl Friends was big into a vampire role playing game, where they would dress up and everything.. and she was perfectly normal. | |
Yep there are women programmers and even some in game development. In fact my game development group at Digipen this year has one.

Neither. :P The question was, is Lesbian Assassin a female coder or a joke? I'm saying it's both... I'm female but the name is a joke from DBZ Ultriment (although arguably originally from Half-Life.)

Hah, I remember the Half-Life assassins. Damn things... took me dozens of tries to get them all. They're too frickin' FAST! =P Aah, old times, playing Half-Life. Good days, good days. That was one of those classic game moments that you never forget, finally nailing all of those bastards. =P

Hee.... you know the easiest way to kill them is to sneak up on them and kill them all before they start moving. :P It takes a long time since you have to stay crouched in "stealth mode" as you move, but it's a lot easier than hitting them while they're on the run. If I were making a similar set up in a game, I'd make the AI have everybody check in at regular intervals and go on the alert as soon as they realize someone's missing.
