Crazy. EVERYTHING gets leaked. Anything from PC games (HL2) to XBox games (Halo2) to PC OS's (Longhorn)
It's nuts.

Heh, yeah, I heard about that.
Personally I don't see why anyone would bother downloading all 3 GB of it. What's so great about H... I mean... I'm... sure... it's... going... to be... a great... game. Yeah, that's what I meant... *runs from the Halo fans* |

Companies aren't focusing on their own country. They're too busy sending all of the jobs to india so they can get Tax Cuts and make All profit.

Not really, just because everyone is angry that everything has it owns fanboys doesn't mean the game sucks.
Halo is a very decent game, and just because microsoft decided to keep the Million dollar making game in their product line was because it is a Decent Game and people buy it. You couldn't seriously say something from 1990 made with unimproved technology is better then anything recent. |

Just because something is new and shiney dosen't mean its a good game.
The reason why Xbox fans loved Halo so much, is because alot of Xbox games at that current time were not very good. So when they got a generic FPS that toasted the crap out of the other games, of course it became popualr. Alot of people said Halo was one reason to own a Xbox. Please... For PC gamers, that have been playing Computer games back since the Comador 64, most of them, (well me and about 50 of my friends) where unimpressed with Halo. In the years we have played video games, we have seem dozens of PC FPS that, while not graphially better, play pretty much the same, and some of them even had better plots! Some people are getting their drawers in a knot cause Halo 2 features some new things. A few I'll name off is Dual Gun Weilding, The Ability to Damage PARTS of vechiales, or the whole vechiale. The fact is, this stuff SHOULD of been in the first Halo. Things like these have beein in FPS for PC back in the 1990's. The whole game Halo is NOT that new, and they do not break any new grounds in FPS gameing. The only reason why it is so popular is because its on Xbox. And don't call me a fan boy or a idiot. I own a PC, a Gamecube, a PS2 and a Xbox. I play them all quite a bit. I also own a Orginal Nintnedo and a Atari. Halo is over rated, end of story. And you don't want the Halo 2 leak anyways, because its a french version. And I agree, good one, Doom is a classic, and I play Doom II more then I play Halo for my Xbox. And before you ask me why I have Halo for Xbox if I dislike it so much, its simple. My Xbox is chipped, and why NOT own it. If I dont play it, a friend or family member may. |

Fun factor > technology. Games are supposed to be GAMES, not tech demos. They're not my favourite games, but they're certainly up there. Halo was okay. I enjoyed it, briefly, then never played it again. For me at least, it certainly wasn't the all-time classic a lot of people seem to think it was. |

Over the past decade, developments in the relatively new field of fun-tology have led to a five-fold increase in the rate of raw happiness output, in terms of kD/hr (kD being the abbreviation for the "kilo-Disney", the unit of measurement named after the founder of the science of fun-tology). By increasing polygon counts, computer games can beam enjoyment directly into your brain! Or... wait, no. Everything I just said is a bunch of ridiculous lies, and "improved technology" is usually just a cheap marketing gimmick to soak gamers for money without having to bother with the trouble of making improved games. Half the time improved technology doesn't even mean improved graphics... you know how so many games on the old Playstation look like crap? Guess what--they always looked like crap. That didn't stop people from raving about them when they came out, despite the fact that there were games on the NES that had more aesthetic appeal. |

I would have to admit the new games with more to do look better then Halo, but then there's Halo 2.
I'd rather play Rainbow Six 3 Athena's Sword or the new Tribes. |

Leftley, you should be a writer. You know, the one's that agree or disagree with a game and write an article about it, or disagree and agree with something else. I don't know, but your writing is very attracting (as in it makes me want to read it). I also like the way you speak. You could be a very successful writer. You sound like the writers in the gaming magazines that write about how good or bad a game is, and why.

Ah, Doom...back in the day. I use to play that thing all the time with friends. My favorite one is the first one. I love old games, such as the first and second Mortal Kombat (other ones sucked) and all that stuff. But, I do have to admit, Halo was an amazing game. I mean, graphics isn't everything but they did have every little piece of grass you needed. And if you looked close enough, some were bent and in a different form. Very detailed. Also, the storyline was original, very original. It was not any 1st person shooter. But...it was very easy. Too damn easy. You are pretty much an immortal, unstoppable man-made machine/human. I hated that part. I love Super Nintentdo, my favorite system of all time. I also love Mario World. Geez, it was so fun being little. =P
