So I was making my weekly rounds on the freebie listing sites when I came across a freebie for movielink.com. It's one of those rent via download then watch setups like sightandsound. They charge by download rather then a membership so I used the freebie promotion code and watched a movie.
Yea, a free movie with only a 3 minute wait to buffer from selection. But here's the really good part, you can just uninstall the Movielink software, make another account and use the promo code for another movie. No IP or MAC address tracking. :)
movielink.com
use the promo MCEOFFER at "checkout"
Enjoy.
BTW: I have nothing to do with movielink and am not part of an affiliate program, just though everyone could use some free and legal movies.

"Sorry, but in order to enjoy the Movielink service you must use Internet Explorer 5.0 or higher, which supports certain technologies we utilize for downloading movies. Click here to get the latest version of Internet Explorer.
We do not anticipate supporting Mozilla or Netscape in the near future." NO THEY MUST DIEEEEE ~Kujila |

It actually probably has more to do with international licensing thingies than it does any choice on their part. I'm sure they'd love to be able to take your gold sava-rings.

I can supposedly get a free, pre-selected movie every month from (I think) Movielink because I use RoadRunner, but I have never done so because I use Gecko-based browsers. :( (Of course, I'm not always a fan of the choices anyway.)
