Of course the N-Gage isn't any good for a heavy gamer, but it seems alright to me for a quick game of something while waiting for the bus to come. Sure as hell beats snake. ;) The same guy is getting a DS as well for his heavier portable gaming. (Or actually, its probably because he's an admitted Nintendo nut. :P)

He's also got TV, music, IRC on there, plus he uses it as a portable USB storage device for carrying around school work. Seems pretty good to me saves carrying around a PDA, phone, mini-tv, gameboy, mp3 player and flash disk all seperately.

I think he said something about the first MMORPG for N-Gage is coming out soon. Playable pretty much anywhere over the phone link, I guess. Wireless internet isn't all that common here (Australia) but I guess the DS and PSP can rely on popularity, and the likelyhood of someone else with one of them around.

I don't own any handhelds, any phones or any consoles. I don't see why bother when my computer can do all that. :P If I needed portability.. maybe I'd get a tablet PC or a small laptop.

I think game consoles crashing is silly, let alone a phone! Multi-purpose devices I can forgive a little.. but to fail at you're sole purpose for existance is pretty bad. ;)

Darn you!

In England we have to wait a bit.

WAIT?

We're talking about a Nintendo Console here.
I want my DS.
