Does anyone else get a really good feel from converting a idea that popped into your head at breakfast, or in the shower, etc. into a real, working game engine?
A solid, useable thing that can be built on.

This is something that the Zeta Rippers will never feel...man, it makes me feel good!

And tired. It's 4:23 AM, so off to bed!

(Man, I love making engines!)

What are your feelings on this?
I never come up with ideas, good or bad. Never, ever. Me is sad.

:(

Get inspiration!
Go dating!
Kiss strangers!

Anything will do.
The entire Dream Review system is poorly written on various pieces of scrape paper mostly napkins, heh.
It includes everything from how the URL should look for each different function, to how the rating system should work (but doesn't right this moment)

Magma was first thought of while I was in school staring at my desk, I still have the original notes written on the back of the work (AP physics) we were doing at the time.

Dating? Hahahaha! That made me laugh! You talk as if I have a life! I use !s too much! Sulks in a corner

If I end up getting a good idea (usually in the shower...), I end up being late for school 'cause I start day dreaming about how it will work.

Oooh, I have this weird feeling in my tummy...my new game engine! And my new BYOND programming skills!

I feel so loved.

Anyway, yeah, you should try dating. I haven't.
Although sometimes girls just attach themselves to me, and then turn around and say they don't like me.

It's like "omg wtf?!?!111" and I go and cry.

You and your Creativeness, bah. It torments me to have to sit here pondering and pondering on what to make. You and your good feelings! Bah.

Woah. De-ja-vu...

Do you ever get that feeling that when you wake up, you're still dreaming?

Woah, another great game idea. I'll sleep on it.
Hope you think up stuff, Artekia!

Love you baby...xxxxxxx MMMMMMPOP! (Er, Creatures, anyone?)
That does bring me much joy. I have done this a lot with demos, I like to make it quick, if I take too long, I will lose interest. Most of my demos didn't take over 2 days to complete.
That good feeling, after flying to the clouds. o_o

No, but I did have the really frightening sensation where I was still dreaming when I woke up. I was having a nightmare and being chased by some ghost thingy, and something clicked in the back of my skull that this must be a dream.

So I opened my eyes right in the middle of REM.

I saw the ghost at the foot of my bed in the same pose it was in while I was dreaming, sort of like a burn onto my retinas. It vanished quickly, but it was scary as heck. =P

(That encounter is what leads me to believe that people who think they see ghosts are actually in an interrupted sleep state... a trick of thought into seeing a subconscious image in the conscious world.)

Spuzzum, I've woken myself out of dreams too!

And it was about something EVEN scarier!

I had been woken by my alarm clock at 4 AM (when I get up, to do homework), then I fell asleep again.
I dreamt about Animal Crossing, Acting schools, and a nice girl who really seemed into me, then we went off to somewhere nice and quiet an- ...anyway, another person said to me:
"Will, shouldn't you be doing homework?"

And a small, little while() proc buried deep inside my subconscious said: "Hey. Bzzzzt. I know that meaning. It's a meaning. It means...Homework! Wake up, Will!"

And I was in the middle of full time dreaming, and I "jacked out" of the dream, slightly injuring my mind-extensions at the same time.

5:30 AM.

At least I didn't over sleep TOO much.

I come up with ideas, but seldom implement them. Sometimes I even actually try to.

Dang, that happened to me in college once. It was Michael Myers (from the Halloween movies, not Austin Powers!) instead of a ghost, but it was the exact same experience. For about two seconds I saw him standing next to my bed in my dorm room, in full 3D. Yikes!
"You know that feeling after you've taken a huge dump? Awesome."

Hey, that terrified me when I was a teenager. I had this horrible dream during a lightning storm (I used to be very afraid of such storms). When I awoke, the storm was over, but (it seemed that) my room was fully lit for about 2 seconds. It terrified me. Fortunately, my grogginess wore off and I realized what happened. I had some trouble getting back to sleep, though, and spontaneously opened my eyes several times to make sure the effect didn't repeat and, fortunately, it did not.

Oddly, I have not been afraid of storms since....
