I received that E-Mail not too long ago. Is this real? Oh, and I blocked out the Confirmation # incase you were wondering. The E-Mail Address did say [email protected]. I only posted this because I know a lot of E-Mail frauds were going by about BYOND. I have been playing BYOND for years and years and I get this? Why? I did not want to contact him because if this is fake I do not want to disturb him and if it a hacker, that link might be hacked. I do not know but if you can, please tell me if you think this E-Mail is real, thank you.

It might be true. I did a quick whois search. I came up with newdream.net which then leads to dreamservers.net which I know I have been told are like affiliated with BYOND or something...

This line bugs me a lot, makes it seem fake. Possibly just an attempt to keep you on the net because of some spyware computer. But that is just me. |
It's legitimate. If someone else entered your email address into the form, you can safely ignore it because you got the confirmation #, not the other person.

Mike would know, he built the BYOND website. I think this has to do with password resets, but I could be mistaken. I recieved one once, forgot why, but I know I had initialized it.

I have created two new Key Names. One of them was eight months ago and the other was three months ago. I never received one for the one created eight months ago so I am guessing this E-Mail is for the one created three months ago. In my opinion, that is way too long to have received this E-Mail. Also, I created those other two Key Names under different E-Mail Addresses (obviously).
