Hey , I need ya'lls opinion on Spyware/Adware and the removal of Spyware/Adware. :P. Like, what (in YOUR opinion) is the best Spyware/Adware remover for you? Personally, I like spysweeper :P.

Hrm..Aiight, I may have to try some other stuff out besides Spysweeper. I got spysweeper back on, and it took care of NOTHING. I already have to reformat again because I can't do anything with all this spyware/adware ( Well, almost anything, I can still post, barely). I mean, I've never had it THIS badly. Well, now I know what I did wrong and how to fix it for AFTER the reformat X_X.
[EDIT] Muahahaha, I had done some work making up what I lost from the first format before the second format, and I barely got the files copied over to a floppy. I'm glad I actually remembered this time, lol |

Yup, Spybot and adaware are the best combination, even though the companies don't like each other and say not to use them together, there is no problem! :D

I like whatever gets rid of whatever is causing me trouble. And no one program has ever gotten rid of every troublemaker for me.
Currently running Spybot Search & Destroy, Ad-aware, and Giant AntiSpyware (which incidentally did kill TV Media, which Spybot and Ad-aware could not). |

Anything the programs don't get, you get. You'd be amazed at how unstealthy spyware and adware is (Not the programs).
Even just going into your program files you'll find most of it, then just use tuneup 2004 and shred it. After that run into the registry and use the find function. If a program can't get rid of it, you can. |
I use Spybot and Ad-Aware to do scans every week, but I have also the professional edition of Spyware Blaster that monitors the system at all time (came packaged with my new computer), Spybot and Ad-Aware barely find anything since I've started using Spyware Blaster, but occasionally something slips through.

Welp, I am bak after reformatting my PC. The situation got so bad(again) that it 1.) It corrupted spysweeper and 2.) Couldn't even do the simplest tasks without freezing up, I could post, however.

Get rid of spysweeper and see if that helps. :/

I use three progams, Bit Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy and Tune up 2004 Because Fire Fox takes care of the rest. :)

Yeah, I didn't get spysweeper back when I got back after a fresh install. First thing I ran for was a firewall, because I, for some reason, got rid of my previous firewall software.

That didn't work for TV Media, the self-replicating regristry-auto-readding obnoxious popup inducer.

I use two progams, AdAware and Spybot Search & Destroy. They take care of almost anything I might get. I used to only use Spybot & ad-aware, but then I tried a different program and it picked up 35 things that my old programs didnt, and they were both updated :S |
