Last night (and months before that) my HUB has been going very fast, and it was perfectly fine. Then, I was hosting a game (self-hosting it privately, by myself) and while the game was being hosted, I minimized it, went to bed, and the next morning I woke up, all seemed fine. Then, when I was trying to get around the HUB, it was going very, very slow. I have no idea what it is. When I try to get onto the forums, it takes forever, when I am navigating around the HUB searching for games, it takes forever. I have no idea what is going on! I tried turning my laptop off and on, and the HUB still goes slow. Everything else on my computer is fast, and works perfectly fine.
Do you think this problem has to do with my laptop? Or do I have to upgrade to a new version of BYOND? Please, any help would be appreciated. I do not want to restart my laptop using the Restore Discs because I will lose all of my games (including Midnight Power). I currently have no floppy disks at my home and do not plan on buying any soon. What should I do?

I'm no expert, but maybe you should try uninstalling BYOND, and installing the LATEST version. If that doesn't work, try resetting your internet connection (From how you describe it, you have DSL or CABLE or something much greater, which you can usually reset). If that doesn't work, then it's not your connection, it's not the hub, then it HAS to be your laptop.
