I'm not about to reply with a foolish "You do better" statement, but I do have some things to say: It's quite an impressive banner- it's pretty, doesn't hurt the eyes, and fits the occasion. Ok, i guess i have to explain what boring means to the 3rd grader. :/
Boring, used in such a way would simply put that it's boring to look at, doesn't bring any emotions, doesn't make me "Look and enjoy" with suprise. It's boring, a simple animation of something moving back and forth is an old Signature (Used one FPS games, usually on the forums and so forth). But, it's overused and "Popular" amoung everyone, which is old. Therefor, it's BORING. Understood? | |
Elation, the whole point of this thread was to get someone to express their opinion on this guy's work. Kaga Kami did that, and was not insulting it, he was just saying what he thought about it. God forbid he didn't find it to be the greatest banner he had ever seen.

I just saw him rate another banner producer with the same attitude, I thought maybe he's just needlessly "copy and pasting" (not literally) a response to people's work, out of EVIL MALICE AND SPITE. Anyway. | |
Not bad! I'd like it more if the design stretched to the entire page, but I know that's hard to do with a banner. (It can be done, though.)
Good colour scheme. Font is maybe too small; I'd increase it a bit (4 or 5 presses of "increase text size" in Firefox made it look a bit nicer). The banner isn't particularly "wow", but it's fine. Looking at it some more, I think the main problem I have with it is that it's too small and cramped up into the top-left corner on my screen. If you increased the font size, and either made the design stretch more or centred it on the page, I think it would look better. | |
