Merry Christmas everybody!
As for myself, I don't open gifts/presents until the specified day, I go by this as a choice for myself, I feel better knowing that I opened them on the day they were supposed to be opened, not earlier :) I've never opened a gift/present earlier than the set day, and I can honestly say I never will :) Though, I hope everyone is having a smashing time, and I wish you all a erry Christmas! --Lee |
Merry Christmas everyone!
I just got done putting my sons bike together :) He made out pretty well this year, though I'm sure when he wakes up, his favorite toy will be the cheapest, piece of crap toy he gets. That, or one of the boxes :P When I was a kid, we always used to open one present on Christmas Eve, and the rest in the morning. My Grandparents wanted to be there to see us open our gift from them before they went home, so we would always open theirs before bed. |

Merry Christmas everyone! Awesome :) -- I bet he's gonna be screaming like mad, I know I was when I was a young lad, when I had my first mountain bike, I went absolutely mad with joy :) He made out pretty well this year, though I'm sure when he wakes up, his favorite toy will be the cheapest, piece of crap toy he gets. That, or one of the boxes :P Haha, I have to say, that's usually the case for quite a few people, I used to love ripping the gift wrapping off the presents I got, and messing with the gift wrapping haha, it used to entertain me really well, and hell, it still does to this day! --Lee |
Merry Christmas everyone :-)
At my dad's, if we wake up before 8AM, we can only take what's in our stockings. Then, once everyone's up after 8, we start opening the gifts under the tree. I received a "Mega Magz" kit, which is kind of like a lego type thing, except with magnets. It's pretty neat. I also received a stopwatch, because I have a Tae Kwon Do test on January 8th where I have to run 2 miles in 16 minutes or less, so I need to time myself now. In addition, I got a "Rock Acoustic" guitar tutorial on DVD. Lastly, a Dell Jukebox 20GB MP3 Player. This year I was very fortunate and I'm very thankful for what I have. When I get back to my mom's house at 10 (AM) today, I'm pretty sure I'll be getting DG-7 Fender Acoustic guitar :-) Happy Holidays! <-Airjoe-> |
A very merry EST Christmas to you all!
I got some good stuff, but I'm more pleased with the fact that everyone else enjoyed what I got them. :) Once I get up to 512mb RAM, I'll be able to play the Half-Life 2 I got. I also received a nice cordless phone, so I can move even less when I'm sitting at the computer. Of course there's the obligatory slew of clothing that you don't really like, but you'll wear anyways. Oh, and a nice pocketwatch. Once I get back from my relatives', I suppose it's back to coding for me! ;) |
