Alot of people die everyday, why care so much about the Tsunami? What about all those starving people out there?

Because the tsunami was no one fault.
And the mass starvation is kinda there fault for over breeding |
I've been living in '05 for 3 hours and 30 minutes and it's been a good year so far. I did have a happy New Years, wish the same to you all, the tsunami victims, and troops deployed in Iraq.

Starvation is not always caused by over-breeding. It can be caused by worthless governments, other disasters, crop shortages (such as drought, disease, locust, etc), etc.
More has happened then just starvation and a tsunami. Don't for get the troops in Iraq, (the lunchroom that got bombed plus all the other attacks), and all the other people who died. At any rate, Happy New Year to everyone. (If you're there yet. Still '04 here!) |

So if you just happened, through an unlucky chance, to be born into a third-world country (instead of the first-world country that you live in now) then it would be entirely your own fault that your parents have no money (and therefore no food) because there are no jobs that even earn a basic living wage? Makes perfect sense to me! Next time I see a starving child in Africa, I won't make any effort to help them, because I know it's that child's own fault that they're starving. |
I don't have a New Years resolution of my own, it has been a good year for me and the only thing I would change about it is the Tsunami.
My one a year celebration of my birth is coming this monday on the third of January. I found it somewhat odd that I share a birthday with Mel Gipson and the author for Lord of the Rings.
