I'm pretty sure that the story was a creative mockery of FPSs like Half-Life and Doom, specifically. I mean, the whole crowbar part was pretty obvious.

I'd like to think of it as a parody for most FPSs. =)

And I, in typical jackassical fashion, decided to be responsible, for a change, and catch up on the BWS submissions -- thus pushing the story down the front page, which was not quite so responsible, considering I put the story up just last night. Doh!
But there is a silver lining, because I wrote a lovely poem to make up for my mistake. Marine Grunts are coming, the Hell Hole's getting gory, |
