Actually, they arranged it so I could take the ACT last year. Ever since they've been mailing me to do this and that and personally, I'm annoyed, but I like the fact that they're paying more attention to my schoolwork than I am.

They do. I got a few letters from Duke when I was in the 8th grade. They look at kids that score above the 95th percentile. It's common knowledge, and not that rare.

Heh, that pissed my parents off big time when I was in 8th grade. They were all like: "Why should we take you to take some test if you can't even pass English!?"

That's about the time they figured out I wasn't dumb, just lazy.

uhm, they do the ACT/SAT thing in 7th grade. At least here. Maybe not where you're from.
