Yeah! I just read my acceptance letter to Texas State University in San Marcos. (Inbetween San Antonio and Austin) Its a party school I've been told so I should fit in. Guy to girl ratio is 1 to 8. Yeah Yeah! And they got a river that runs through the campus that people go tubing on all day during the summer. Co-ed dorm rooms. NO 8 AM CLASSES (nobody shows up anymore) Man I'm so happy. But I don't wanna party too much....

Is that the same as Sam Houston? I had some buddies and fraternity brothers down in San Marcos and they really liked it.
Good luck, but remember, even though you learn way more outside the classroom, it's in the classroom that you earn a GPA! Extracurricular activities are a good thing. Especially leadership positions. Make sure to shoot for an internship or two (makes getting a job much easier) and keep those grades up. Stay away from the drugs (remember Texas is zero tolerance, so even if a friend brings weed with him into your car, you'll probably be in some trouble if he doesn't claim it- which he won't!) and limit the alcohol and women (all things in moderation ;-)) and you'll be golden. College was probably the best 4 years of my life (so far!). Law school on the other hand.... |

Sam Houston is in Huntsville.
Texas State is in San Marcos.... it used to be called Southwest Texas State or something like that. Easier said than do though... right? Haha |
You'll have way too much fun. Good luck in whatever classes you are taking (the ones you plan on going to :D)
