Something I am doing for a platformed game I'm trying to create but getting hard.. Idk if im using dithering the right way but it looks good to me the way it is to show texture.

With that it feels like you're trying to use dithering as a fill effect. For me I use dithering to smooth out transistions between shades of a color.
I'm no expert on dithering but I wanted to share my approach.
This is an example of how I dither. I did this back when I was practising pixel art a lot.
