You know, in every Zombie movie Ive seen, usually the humans loose. And why not? There is usually a over whelming number of zombies compair to the human ratio, and humans are just plain stupid when it comes to dooms day.
By the time they get their act together, there is only 6 of them left surrounded by zombies in some town or clock tower, or whatever.
Why do I bring this up? I had this weird dream, about how India was the last country standing in the epic struggle with zombies conflict.
It starts off with some dude that is friends with some animals who lives up in the trees because the zombies cant reach them there, until the zombies learn how to climb. Eventually the animals and the guy end up falling out of the trees, through a glass window (from above, duh, lol) and into a building where they are corndered by another 3 or 4 zombies, but at the last mineut, they are saved by like a organzied group of zombie hunters.
The along the way, the hunters, this guy and the animals find and rescue this woman, who turns out to be the direct blood line of this Indian Princess or some crap.
The rest is fuzzy now, but in the end, tne animals and the guy are the only ones left standing, and they end up getting ripped apart and eaten at the end too.
Anyways, what do you guys think, if humanity was ever now confronted with this kind of problem, do you think it would end up like all the movies?

because of the fact there has been that many zombie movies, I think people would get their acts together & kick their asses.

The key to this question is the part of the movie we tend to not see. The part when the zombies multiply until they outnumber the humans. In Resident Evil, rats carried the virus infecting mass ammount of people at a time. In 28 Days Later, the "zombies" were infected fast and run fast. As soon as one person gets infected, they immedietly change and bite someone else. The only real way for humans to "win" is to stop the population growth. As long as they can keep the zombie population and reproduction at bay, they can be victorious. In the movies, the humans are always too ignorant to stop the zombies while they can. Afterwards, they lose to the overwhelming numbers.

Plus 28 days later took place in Britain and therefore should have theoretically been contained by the water surrounding the island. That is, unless zombies started driving boats are something.

In the movie the infection was isolated to England. England was blockaded and no aid provided so that the Zombies would starve off. When the main character reads of outbreaks abroad he later finds these are lies, generated to stop people fleeing.

You know what i'd do. I'd get six or seven people i really hate, tie them up, drug them, stuff em full of explosives, stick them in the middle of the city, and wait. When a bunch of zombies are there i'd blow them up.

I've been having some weird dreams about zombies for a couple days. Especially after I was looking up stuff on zombies on wikipedia and then came across some of the half-life stuff on there, pretty in-depth stuff.
I pretty much remember the ending of it (very weird): Me and the others were sawing through a giant silo which was a overgrown with parasite like things (kind of like the Las Plagas of RE4) and it ended up falling over and killing some guy in a barn/house next to it. He was covered in rubble up to his neck and he turned into a zombie. I don't think there was anything much after that which I can remember, I'll get around to trying to conclude it with another zombie dream in about 20 minutes: its 1:09 AM here right now. @_@ | |
My worst nightmares are zombie ones, being ripped apart and eaten alive. Ive never had any nightmares about hell raiser, or friday the 13th, but zombies, forget about it, they plauge my dreams.

I remember one from a while ago were scarecrows were trying to break in my house and they were wearing different t-shirts, one being a Steve Austin shirt. Idk where that came from.

I had a dream today that Lindsay Lohan (don't know why her, but whatever) came to my local community center. She started singing and thengot electrocuted. She seemed okay, but the bungie cord that was holding her started swinging wildly until it smashed open her head on the ceiling. After that, dancing vegetables came out onto the stage and we left. To the zombie thing, I think that the public of my town would pretty well informed (as we watch a ton of Zombie movies). We'd beat back the zombies and hope the army comes and rescues us like in Shaun of the Dead. | |
